About Me

so many ideas, so little time.
My first love is fiber arts, especially crocheting, knitting and handspinning.  Handspinning is the process of making yarn from scratch. I start with loose fibers, frequently sheep's wool and add twist until I have a continuous length of yarn.

I love the process of creating something from scratch, especially so if that process involves color and texture.  When I'm not playing with yarn I also enjoy dyeing, kumihimo braiding and art journaling.  In fact its the return to collage and art journaling that prompted me to restart blogging.  While I have ravelry.com to track my yarn related project's details, I don't have any place to document my kumihimo or art journaling projects.  A blog is the perfect place.

Let's go play with color...
